Stirring Up Bird Photos in November

Falling for Birds in Niagara
You can sign up to take bird photos with Thomas Stirr
The common to the sublime, birds offer nature photographers great opportunities and challenges.
If you are in the Niagara Falls, Canada area on Saturday Nov. 7 you can join avian photographer Thomas Stirr in one of his favorite places for indoor shooting: Bird Kingdom. (Click on the link to get directions, etc.)
With a number of different aviaries, you will have the opportunity to use a variety of lenses and practice your skills at hand-holding.
I always shoot hand-held when I visit Bird Kingdom but some readers may choose to bring a monopod especially if using longer length telephoto lenses and zooms.
There are more than birds there as well. You can also find some reptiles, owls and bats.
The park opens at 9:30, but plan to get there at 9:15 to connect with Thomas. He’ll be there about 2 hours.
