You Won’t Believe these Photographs were not Photoshopped!

Whether peaceful, like Blue Universe, above, or violently dramatic like the eruption in Iceland, below, these photos are powerful. They are amazing in color, contrast, composition. Many look like they are actual composites created in Photoshop, but they are not.

These 12 are from a competition specifically for photos that did not use Photoshop or other manipulation software. The competition narrowed it to 100. We picked our favorites.

Some are pure nature photo shots, whether landscape photographs or wildlife. Some are regal, like the eagle skimming the water. Others are humorous, like the one below.

The photos, and nature photographers come from around the world. Subjects range from common place to rare. All show the importance of really looking and seeing what is happening in the world around us. And, perhaps a little luck.
